How do I re-thread my fishing rod?

I just bought a basic shakespeare fishing pole that with the bell-shaped cover on top. The reel is all threaded but I can’t figure out where to put the line through before threading the eyelets to get the bail release mechanism to work. Right now its just the line on the reel and I need to know where to put it before threading the eyelets. Thank you!

Unscrew or unsnap the front of the reel. Run the line through the hole in the front of the reel. Put the front back on and thread your line through the guides.
