Jacksonville Attorney Jefferson Morrow lands the first known catch of a sailfish in an inflatable kayak using a fly rod off the coast of Guatemala. The fish took Morrow on a 3 1/2 mile run in Pacific waters about 40 miles off the coast. The fish was released.
In addition to his law practice, Morrow is a co-founder of the non-profit Southern Sailfish Association (www.southernsailfish.org) whose goal is to help improve the standard of living in countries where he and his colleagues go for fly rod sport fishing
